Privacy policy

In short

Without an account, your bill data never leaves your device. Payment slips, invoices, batch files and bank statements are processed entirely in your browser. We have no server that receives this data, no tracking. Only if you choose to create an account (optional) do we store the data you save there; see below.

Who is responsible

Responsible for data processing under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) is the operator named in the legal notice.

Hosting

The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). When you load a page, Cloudflare technically processes your IP address, the time and the requested address to deliver the page and protect it against attacks. Cloudflare may process this data outside Switzerland, including in the USA. We have no access to the content you enter.

Data stored on your device

If you turn on "Remember my details on this device", your IBAN and address are saved in your browser (localStorage). Your light/dark mode choice is saved the same way. You can delete both at any time with "Forget my details" or by clearing your browser data. Without an account we do not use cookies.

Optional account (beta)

Signing in is optional. If you create an account, we store your email address and the data you choose to save: payee profiles (IBAN, name, address), customers (name, address) and the data of bills you download while signed in (amounts, references, messages, open/paid). PDFs are not stored; they are made again in your browser.

Storage: Cloudflare D1 database in the EU. Sign-in links are sent by email through an email service provider (named here before launch). For sign-in we set two cookies: a session cookie (HttpOnly, needed to keep you signed in, 30 days) and a cookie without content that tells the pages you are signed in.

You can export all your data (JSON, CSV) and delete your account at any time in the account settings. Deletion is immediate and complete.

Payment links

A payment link contains the bill data in the part of the address after the "#". Browsers never send this part to a server, so we do not receive it. Anyone you give the link to can see the data in it, so only share it with the intended payer.

Files and camera

Files you open in the tools (PDFs, images, Excel/CSV files, bank statements) are read in your browser only. If you use the camera to scan a QR code, the video is analysed on your device and not recorded or transmitted.

If you write to us, we use your message and email address only to answer you.

You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Use the contact details in the legal notice.
